Cd Palmer Attends "Road To Redemption" feat. Zab & Joseph Judah

Nothings better than sweet revenge, nobody knows that better than Zab “Super” Judah (38 – 6, 25KO). Judah wasn’t seeking personal vendetta against his opponent, just a chance to redeem his name in the boxing world. He’s taken losses from greats like Mayweather Jr. when a low blow nearly started an arena wide riot, as well as losses against Baldomir and Cotto.
Over the weekend, Judah stepped into the ring at the Palms Resort & Casino against Florida’s Ubaldo Hernandez (22-20-2). Hernandez rushed into the fight with some furry but after missing a crucial punch, it was over, Judah worked him out with body shots taking the first round. Hernandez went down in what was ruled a slip by ref. Joe Cortez, giving Hernandez a break. That was not the case in round two. Hernandez was overcome by Judah’s workout and Judah dropped him again at 35 seconds and the fight was over.
Another Judah camp fighter on the fight card over the weekend was Zab’s little brother Joseph Judah (5-0-0) going up against Joel Gonzales (2-5). Carrying on the tradition of his big brother, Joseph pulverized his opponent throughout the entire fight stopping him in the fourth round sending him down for the count. Gonzales got up to face more damage. The Judah family took president over the fight and redeemed more than their names, they got the respect from the fans.
Salvador Sanchez (17-3-2, 8KO) defeated featherweight opponent Jose Pacheco (2-9-6) with a 6 round decision. Sanchez dominated Pacheco with fancy footwork and mean left body shots and jabs, finally shutting him down with some chilling counter rights. Thailand’s Toddy Junior debut fight against North Las Vegas’ Brice Yenki was another fast and fury fight. Junior came into the fight dropping bombs on Yenki and continued to break him down throughout the entire fight; Junior won the fight by decision.
Another near massacre in the ring was light heavyweight Ron Johnson (11-1, 3 KO) from Cleveland and now a resident of Las Vegas and Dumont “Dewey” Welliver (18-19-1, 6KO). Johnson took over with his fast combinations of body shots until an accidental head butt opened Welliver’s left eye in the 2nd round. Fans were not excited about the decision to stop the fight and declare a no decision, but they will be waiting anxiously to see the rematch.

KOTTAK on XRadio.biz
KOTTAK, special guest on XRadio.biz Nov. 6 gave a standing over ovation set at the Cheyenne Saloon. KOTTAK brought through the 'show stopper' James KOTTAK of Scorpions and Athena, Tommy Lee’s sister at the live performance.
KOTTAK has announced they will be touring the southwest United States October 30th through November 7th, 2009. According to Jimmy Ratchitt (Vocals & Guitar), “The band is ecstatic to get out and play for our fans in Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada! We’re based in Los Angeles and it’s been awhile since all of our schedules have synced-up enough to plan a tour like this and we can’t wait to get out on the road!”
Jimmy Ratchitt is the alter ego of famed SCORPIONS drummer, James Kottak. KOTTAK also includes Athena on drums (lil’ sis of Tommy Lee), Johnny Lucas on lead guitar, and Price Vernon on bass. With their debut CD, ‘greatest hits’, and critically acclaimed follow up CD, ‘therupy’, KOTTAK has established itself as more than just a band with a spelling problem. Several tours of Japan, Europe, Mexico, and countless west coast runs have yielded a reputation as a rock solid act.
The KOTTAK live show has become an event to be experienced – Loud, Sweaty and In Your Face! Fans also get a full dose of the bands’ middle-finger waving attitude included free with every show. Jimmy also noted that KOTTAK fans that make it to the southwest tour shows will be among the first to hear new songs from their upcoming third CD entitled, ‘Scream With Me’. “Our southwest fans have waited a long time for us to come and play so we wanted to let them be the first to hear some of these new songs played live. The new CD totally rocks!”
Produced by Tommy Henriksen (Daughtry / B.C. Jean), ‘Scream With Me’ is slated for release in early 2010. The KOTTAK southwest tour finishes up with one California performance at Rockfest 2009 in Lake Elsinore on November 7th. This show at Diamond Stadium also includes Warrant, Great White, Gilby Clarke Band, Adler’s Appetite and Pretty Boy Floyd.
